This blog will be about my journey into the world of digital learning and how I try to make it more human. Technology is great but it does have it's limitations. Many of us have a phobia of technology and find excuese while others just push technoglogy in learning just for the sake of it.
I take a very different view, a very practical one. I believe in embracing technology to make learning more effective but the key is how do we employ it and the context it is in. That IS the secret. We do not always have to use the latest software and I tend to take a practical approach.
I've done many things from webinars, conducting 'live' video streaming training, running virtual project groups (completely virtual with no physical contact), facilitated in meetings and the key is really how do we engage people. As I mentioned, my approach is very practical, I'll share what I've learned along the way. I would also welcome contributions and that would make this blog all the more interesting and vibrant.
